Cedar One and our Realtors are actively involved in community fundraising events and always looking for ways to give back.
Hot Dogs for Houses
Cedar One Charity Committee has held an annual “Hot Dogs for Houses”, a Humane Society event since June 2018. Cedar One brings out our “Piggy Pit” and gives out a free grilled hot dog, chips and a drink to anyone who donates to the local Humane Society. These donations help feed and care for the animals. The Humane Society volunteers and a few of their furry friends are always around for the event in hopes of finding their furever home!
Toys for Tots
Toys for Tots is a donation program run by the Marine Corps Reserve. Cedar One has dedicated donation drop off sites in each of our offices. Toys for Tots collects donated toys for less fortunate children. We have been involved in this program since October of 2019.
Pizza and Pumpkins
Cedar One hosted a “Pizza and Pumpkins” event for the Sycamore Youth Center in October of 2021. We delivered pizza for lunch and mini-pumpkins for all the children to paint.
Wintersville Weekend
Wintersville Winter Weekend event was held December 3-4 2022. What a huge success! Cedar One procured donations of non-perishable food items in support of local school pantries.
Thanksgiving at East Elementary
For Thanksgiving, Cedar One hosts a Kindergarten lunch at East Elementary in Steubenville. We provide all the Kindergarten classes with a Thanksgiving lunch and then we read a Thanksgiving themed book for the children.
